Easter Fun!!

We decided to celebrate the festivities of Easter on Saturday and leave Sunday for the spiritual side of Easter. This is Xander on Saturday opening his basket and going easter egg hunting.

Happy Birthday Xander!!!

Xander just turned 2 yrs old on Feb. 18^th!!!!! I can’t believe he is so old!!!I was having lots of morning sickness so we decided to play it low this year. So we had his birthday night just to ourselves and had his cousins over the next day for a picnic. We went to the Jumping Jamboree for Xander’s birthday night. I mostly took pictures while Greg and Xander played on the big toys.

Xander LOVED all the slides! He was not scared one bit! He is our little dare devil.

We are having another baby!!!!! I am actually 17 weeks now. Xander is really excited. He thinks we are going to get a baby like his 7 month old friend Joe. So whenever we ask if he wants a baby he says, "Yes, a baby Joe".

We are very excited to welcome a new child into our home. Our due date is Sept. 7th, but my doc says she might induce me early because of the history of large babies on both sides of the family and Xander was 9lbs 3oz. That makes me very happy!!!!!

Greg and I thought this video was definitely worth posting on our blog. We watched it over and over!

Xander's first time in snow!!!

Last time it snowed here in Atlanta we didn't have a winter coat for Xander, so we decided not to go play in the snow. This time we have a gigantic coat for him so we jumped on in!!

Xander fell down a few times in the snow, so we decided he might need thicker gloves on his hands. We were surprised that Xander liked the big gloves on!! We couldn't stop laughing about how cute and funny he looked!

Xander's Big Boy Bed!!

So the Monday after Christmas we decided to change Xander's crib into a big boy bed!! We were worried that it might ruin his sleep, but nothing has really changed. We are very proud him. We are still waiting for him to discover that he can get up and play in the middle of the night, but he hasn't figured that out yet.

Ironically Xander is much happier when he wakes up from his naps now. I think he likes the freedom to get out of his bed when he chooses to. Sometimes he just lays in bed awake. Silly Boy!!
